Thanks for taking part in the radio test this Saturday 9:30am 25 January 2025.

This is just a quick note to thank you for trying the other channels (3,4) - it looks like Maungaraki (channel 1) repeater is now functioning, so despite not getting any feedback from any authorities it seems there was a follow up and something has changed.

I suspect we are the only ones who regularly check, I think other groups just find a channel that works each time and assume that any problems are due to their location etc. rather than a repeater issue.

It's also useful to know that Lowry can also use channel 4 (Mount Fritzherbert)., possibly Point Howard also (tbc).

Locally ch 3 (Bravo) also worked for Days Bay and Tennis.

FYI - I also manage the website https://eastbourne.nz/ and the electronic notice board in the library - if you have information you'd like to see on either of these please let me know. I have got pages for each bay which have no content - the obvious addition would be information about the bay's emergency resources, plan and contacts etc. so please send anything through.
