I haven't had time to check the radio / antenna situation at the library so I guess we will see if some of the noise issues persist.

Community Resilience Expo, Muritai School, 24 March 2024

This was my priority this month and it went really well with the exception of a smaller turnout than I hoped in light of the large number of exhibitors that turned up, and the promotion we did. Big job, and still a lot to do in terms of winding it up, reporting and hopefully setting up for the next time. 

I'm keen on feedback and suggestions on any aspect of the event, especially how we could do better next time. This includes if you didn't attend, was it timing, relevance etc? Obviously we would like to get the whole community involved in becoming resilient as that is what will be needed in the event of an emergency, so this matters.

FYI - I also manage the website http://eastbourne.nz/ and the electronic notice board in the library - if you have information you'd like to see on either of these please let me know. I have got pages for each bay which have no content - the obvious addition would be information about the bay's emergency resources, plan and contacts etc. so please send anything through.
