SUMMARY:Survey - Ferry Connection to the Miramar Peninsula
DESCRIPTION:Kia ora everyone. We’re exploring the potential for a ferry connection between the Eastern Bays and the Miramar Peninsula (Seatoun / Shelly Bay). \nThis short 1–2 minute survey will help us understand: \n\nCommunity interest\nLikely usage\nWhat would make the service work\n\nYour feedback will be shared with East by West Ferries and council to support a potential pilot. \nComplete the survey here:  https://forms.gle/hyW19EU5gEQ3h13e6 \nThis survey will be open for responses over the next 2 weeks and will close on Friday 10th April.  We’d really value your input! \nPlease share with neighbours and local groups — the more responses we get\, the stronger the case. If you have any issues with the survey contact the ECB \n \n

SUMMARY:Waste collection: Red (general) & Blue (glass)
DESCRIPTION:Non recyclable rubbish\nYour rubbish bin / ipupara \nThis is your wheelie bin with the red lid\, and it’s just for rubbish. \nWhen green waste goes to landfill it creates methane\, a greenhouse gas much more potent than carbon dioxide.\nInstead of putting it in your red bin\, consider composting or using our green waste collection.\nDid you know? I get collected weekly. \n  \nYour glass recycling crate / pouaka kara- he \nThis is your blue open-top crate\, which is just for glass \nYES \n\nGlass bottles\nGlass jars\n\nRemember: Rinse bottles and jars to make sure they’re clean. \nNO \n\nLids\nTableware and Pyrex\nBroken glass\nLight bulbs\nMirrors or window glass\n\nTip: One person’s waste is another’s treasure. Keep an eye out on noticeboards and social media for opportunities to save useable items from going to landfill.
