DESCRIPTION:An initial information evening to discuss and explore what a Community Patrol could look like in Eastbourne has been set up for next Weds 1st July at 7.30 pm at O’Malleys. Please indicate if you would like to attend by contacting me\, Marni Stevenson 022 653 5159 or . I will need to get a rough estimate of numbers to confirm with the kind folk at O’Malleys who have offered their space for this initial meeting.\nI will provide a basic brief on volunteering\, the training involved\, the expectations/responsibilities of volunteering and the options available to us in setting up Community Patrol in Eastbourne\, based on guidance by Merv Theobold who runs the Petone patrol. Please note this is will be followed up with an actual session by Merv in 2-3 weeks time.\n\n\nAll those who are interested in hearing more are welcome.
