I (Bruce Spedding) recently watched an overview /. demo of Resilience Explorer (see past event listed above) . As an example it showed not only which houses might need to be evacuated in a flooding event, but which areas in a community may lose power, other utilities or access etc. HCC is not a subscriber (I notice that WEMO is however). I've been asked if I am interested in a demo, and I explained that ECB was not in a position to sign up for such a tool - however I have received an offer of a demo, so I'm looking for any indications of interest. Since WREMO are already signed up we may have access through them?
Offer: As discussed, I suggest we set up a demonstration of the Resilience Explorer platform and provide some insights into the work that Urban Intelligence is undertaking across the motu with councils and Lifelines group. We are available in the week commencing 16 June 2025 and will confirm dates after receiving confirmation of the numbers from your community Board and perhaps Hutt City Council.
