Eastbourne needs your help. If you are planning to take advantage of the Eastbourne Icebergs lane swimming you need to indicate your interest by Sunday 9 November. *
If you want to support your local pool, local swimmers, and programmes like this you could also register - no payment is required at this stage, you can register now and decide when the programme is confirmed.
80 registrations are required, currently sitting at 40 (last year there were 70) - so your registration could make a difference.
Information and registration here. You can register now and decide later. You can register online, download a form, or call the numbers provided.
About Icebergs
Would you like the opportunity to lane swim at Eastbourne Summer Pool or McKenzie Baths every weekday between 6am-8.30am?
Hutt City Council aims to continue the Icebergs programme for the 2025-26 seasons at Eastbourne Summer Pool and McKenzie Baths.
Icebergs gives you special access to the pool between 6am-8.30am on weekdays. During these hours the pool is only open to Icebergs members for swimming and aqua jogging.
Membership
Icebergs memberships are available to anyone 14 years or older. Swim more than twice a week and you will save!
* Note: although the website states "Icebergs will only proceed if we receive enough registrations before the sessions are due to start." this is misleading - the cut off date was originally the 7 November, now extended until the 9 November - actual sessions start 17 November if programme goes ahead.
The site also states late enrolments will be welcome - but presumably only if the threshold of 80 registrations is reached.
