Kia ora Eastbourne and Eastern Bays
Ngā mihi o te Kirihimete me te Tau Hou - Season's greetings for Christmas and the New Year.
This is a final note to sign off for 2025. It's been an interesting year, possibly the highlight has been the addition of Gollan's Valley to our regional park and all that entails. It will be a while before we actually get access, but it will be quite transformative. Accompanied by the the Tupua Horo Nuku Resilience project, and in particular the shared path, these will combine to be quite transformative to our community in so many ways. We appreciate the patience that everyone has exhibited over the duration of this project, it's been exciting seeing it emerge - just a few months to go. 2026 is shaping up to be even more interesting as the pathway on both sides of the harbour nears completion.
Thank you to all those who have through various actions supported this great community, there are too many to mention, but it is you that make this community a great place to live.
Finally, a huge vote of thanks to Belinda Moss and Frank Vickers for their service to the community on the board over the previous terms.
Ngā mihi, Eastbourne Community Board
