Kia ora,
It’s been a wild night weatherwise and I know many of you will be busy checking your properties and on your neighbours. Our emergency teams have been working through the night responding to the situation. There are some power outages, flooding and trees down across the city.
I have emailed staff earlier this morning advising them to please limit their travel on the roads for essential purposes only. The front counter at Laings Road has been closed for the day as have our hubs and summer pools. The indoor pools are currently open and we will make a call on these later in the day if needed. As per usual hours our museums are closed on a Monday.
