Update from Hutt City Council
Hutt City Council have alerted us that the road will be closed from 6pm to 10pm (high tide is about 8pm) - be aware that this is an estimate and could be extended (earlier start & later end) or even extended overnight if conditions warrant.
Be aware that a road closure could also be in force tomorrow (Friday) around high tide (8:40am) - i.e. 6:40 to 10:40 am.
Unless travel is unavoidable please stay at home.
Council are carrying out urgent work at Mahina Bay which could create further hold-ups.
Assume all transport services will be disrupted as well.
Please check on your neighbours to make sure they are aware of the situation, or if you need help.
