Thank you for those who made a written or oral submission to Council about the Representation Review. Some written submissions and information are available here, and you can watch/hear the oral submissions here.

Kids diving into pool
The Eastbourne Community Board is excited to share that, thanks to HCC's aquatic team, we have a chance to keep our beloved Summer Pool open for the full season!
Due to budget constraints, the pool's season was set to be reduced, but with enough trained volunteers from our community, we can keep it open for the entire summer as it usually would be! This means more days of swimming, sunshine, and making the most of our beautiful summer right here in Eastbourne.
We’ve already had a few amazing volunteers step forward, but we just need 3 or 4 more to make this happen! We’re looking for volunteers aged 16 and older who are ready to step up and make a difference. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable skills, including full lifeguard training and first aid certification provided by the council. Not only will you be helping your community, but you’ll also be gaining certifications that can benefit you in the future!
If you're passionate about our community and want to ensure everyone can enjoy the pool all summer long, now is the time to volunteer. Let’s come together and keep our pool open for the full season!
