This email is to let you know there is a meeting of local interested businesses in promotional activities for the Eastern Bays. The agenda for the meeting is still being finalised, but the main focus will be on the upcoming WOW promotion - with perhaps a date set for further discussions about wider promotion and the Arts Trail. Shelly suggested it would be appropriate to involve Karl Chisholm as HCC Head of Arts & Culture in discussions about an Arts Trail/ Open Studio annual event.

The meeting will be upstairs at the Eastbourne Library on Tuesday 8th August at 6:30pm. If you plan to attend let either Fran Drager ( hello@goldiestore.co.nz ) or Philothea Flynnstudiotoru3@gmail.com021 433 082) know.

James LambHead of Business and Economy at Hutt City Council and Members of the Eastbourne Community Board will also be present.

The Eastbourne Business Group also has a Facebook page where information can be posted and questions and comments made. We occasionally post information we think may be of value to the local business community, such as announcements, meetings and presentations from HCC and the Hutt Chamber of Commerce. This is also a way for the business community to communicate with each other.

Community contacts, events and information are also available is also available on our website eastbourne.nz , in the Eastbourne Herald (printed copies at the library, or onine), on the ECB digital noticeboard (also in the library) and our Facebook page.

If you have suggestions for the group, or information you think may be of interest to others please let us know
