After so much interest, we have created a page for the people who were interested in joining the Eastbourne Chess Club. If you go ahead and like the page, you will be kept up to date with the latest news.
We have yet to find a place to meet but above the library may be an okay option. If you have any ideas on other spaces in the community we could use, let us know.
We chose Wednesdays 6.30 – 8pm due to the dinner rush being over and being an okay time for littlies to still not go to bed too late.
We want this to become a lovely, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where all skill levels and ages are welcome to learn and grow their skills. We started this out for kids (with their parents) but there were older people interested too so the more the merrier!
