An evocative semi-autobiographical coming of age story of friendship, family, love, betrayal, and resilience. Sunshine Road explores the journey of self-discovery, the courage of self-acceptance, and the transformative power of embracing your inner knowing of who you can become. Sunshine Road developed from a handful of short stories written twenty years ago.
Catherine Manchester grew up in Eastbourne, studied English Literature at Victoria and Fine Arts at Otago Polytechnic. Soon after graduation she won the Rita Angus art award and has painted and exhibited throughout New Zealand.
