Eastbourne Community Board Meeting

October 22 @ 7:15 PM - 9:00 PM NZDT

Note venue – this meeting will be at the Eastbourne Community Hub/Library, same time and other details as before.

Any member of the public is welcome to speak for up to 3 minutes on any issue at the beginning of the meeting, contact the board before the meeting or just notify us on arrival if you wish to do so.

This meeting will feature our annual Eastbournes Awards, given in recognition of contributions or achievements to our community  (you can find out more including previous recipients here).

The following presentations are on the agenda:

  1.   Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2024: A verbal presentation by the Head of Transport.
  2.   Tupua Horo Nuku and bird protection areas update: A verbal presentation by Council’s Project Delivery Manager – Transport
  3.   Z Energy – replacement fuel pipeline, Seaview: A verbal presentation by Brent Cooper, Project Engineer, Z Energy
  4.  Presentation by Local Councillor from Greater Wellington Regional Council: A verbal update by Cr Quentin Duthie

The meeting also usually has various reports from projects and other issues on-going in the community which are worth listening to, as well as normal board business.

The Chair’s report and meeting agenda will be available closer to the meeting date – we will also notify you of this and other community issues via our email newsletter which you can subscribe to ( and unsubscribe at any time).

Note: This is a board meeting, you are invited and welcome to attend, and speak at the beginning of the meeting, but if you have questions during the meeting you must address them through the chair. i.e. it is not a public forum.
