Ngauranga to Petone (Ngā Ūranga ki Pito-One) section of Te Ara Tupua opens

May 16
The Ngauranga to Petone (Ngā Ūranga ki Pito-One) section of Te Ara Tupua opens to the public on Saturday 16 May!
Wellington and the Hutt Valley will soon be linked by a safe and stunning new coastal shared path that also improves resilience by better protecting the rail line from storm and sea surges.
Created in partnership with iwi and our communities, Te Ara Tupua is a pathway incorporating history, environment benefits, and future-focused design.
We’re confident this path will contribute to regional walks and rides, support local and national tourism and recreational opportunities, while being enjoyed by many for many years to come.
Grab your shoes, pump up those tyres and join us on 16 May.

DING-DING! We’ll be at Williams Park giving away bells and getting feedback. We will try to keep the Eastbourne Library stocked with bells for your ride as well. These have been so popular we ordered more.
