Meet the candidates for the upcoming local body elections. This election you will be voting for the mayor, 5 city-wide candidates, and 3 regional council candidates. Our Harbour Ward councillor Tui Lewis has already been decided (uncontested), and our Community Board is also decided as we only had the required 5 candidates nominated, meaning no contest is required. This election will also feature 2 referendums. To retain the new Maori Ward (binding  - this will affect the next election in 2028, not this one).
