National Emergency Mobile Alert test

National Emergency Mobile Alert test - save the date The nationwide test of the Emergency Mobile Alert (EMA) system is taking place in the evening of Sunday 25 May between 6-7pm. This is a routine test to make sure the system is working well, and we anticipate that over 5.5 million phones will receive this message. Anybody who may be distressed by the alert, or those have a hidden second phone for their safety, should put their phones in flight mode or turn them off between the hours of 6-7pm on Sunday 25 May to avoid the sound of the alert. Eastbourne Community Board meeting at 7.15pm Tuesday 10 June,  at the East Harbour Women’s Club. Everyone is welcome.
