CANCELLED: Eastbourne Community Board – Walk Around

Eastern Bays

This event has been cancelled as were are not enough issues to warrant the effort and cost. Individual bays will be contacted and any issues raised will be dealt with individually. Thank you. ECB On Saturday 2 March, the Community Board will have its annual trip through Eastbourne and the Bays, visiting Resident Associations and residents. As usual, we plan to travel (by van) south from Point Howard, spending 20-30 minutes in each bay or area to discuss any issues residents would like to bring to our attention. These are generally broader issues or concerns not otherwise managed through the Council's Report a Problem service.A

Eastbourne Wharf to Wharf Swim 2024

The Eastbourne Wharf-to-Wharf swim was held on Sunday 3rd March - results of the 2024 swim can be found here The Wharf-to-Wharf swim has become an Eastbourne institution that has been running for over 100 years. This fun, non-competitive friendly swim event is run by the Muritai Yacht Club and volunteers for the benefit of the Eastbourne community.  The course begins on Days Bay beach and finishes next to the Rona Bay wharf in Eastbourne. Every person is a winner and at a distance of approximately 1.25km it is an event that all age groups can enjoy together. 6th April, 12-1pm, Eastbourne Community Hub (aka Library) The 10 Year Plan, also known as the Long Term Plan (LTP), is council’s key strategic document. It sets out our priorities for the next 10 years, including what we will do, how much it will cost and how we will fund it. It’s reviewed every three years to make sure it is still relevant and accurate.
