This programme is very important to some members of our community. To make sure it runs this summer we need 80 registrations (there were 70 last year). We are currently sitting at about 40, partly due to poor promotion, particularly the cut off date which is now Sunday night 9 November. If you are even slightly interested, unsure, or want to support those community members who really value this then please register your interest now , no payment required at this stage so there’s no risk, you’ll be helping get the programme running just by registering, and you can decide later if you want to participate.

About Icebergs
Would you like the opportunity to lane swim at Eastbourne Summer Pool or McKenzie Baths every weekday between 6am-8.30am? Hutt City Council aims to continue the Icebergs programme for the 2025-26 seasons at Eastbourne Summer Pool and McKenzie Baths. Icebergs gives you special access to the pool between 6am-8.30am on weekdays. During these hours the pool is only open to Icebergs members for swimming and aqua jogging.
Membership
Icebergs memberships are available to anyone 14 years or older. Swim more than twice a week and you will save! Icebergs will only proceed if we receive enough registrations before the sessions are due to start. Late enrolments will still be welcome.
