Representation Review – drop-in session.

Eastbourne Community Hub/Library 38 Rimu Street, Eastbourne, Lower Hutt, New Zealand

Have questions in relation to the representation review? Come along to one of the community drop-in sessions and have a chat with HCC! Dates: Naenae Neighbourhood Hub – Saturday 6 July 11am-12p War Memorial Library – Wednesday 17 July 7pm-8pm Eastbourne Neighbourhood Hub – Saturday 20 July 1pm–2pm Petone Neighbourhood Hub – Saturday 20 July 3pm-4pm Wainuiomata Neighbourhood Hub – Sunday 28 July 2pm-3pm Proposed changes to how our communities are represented on Council have just been released for public consultation and we’re keen to hear from you by 1 August. An independent panel undertook community engagement in late 2023 and early 2024 to consider

Local Body Elections – including regional and city councils, and community board.

The Local Government Commission overruled the HCC council vote to disestablish the Eastbourne Community Board as of the next election. This means ECB will be part of the next election cycle.  Thank you Eastbourne for your support! Local body elections are your opportunity to elect your regional (GWRC) and city (Hutt City) councillors, and your community board members (ECB).
