An initial information evening to discuss and explore what a Community Patrol could look like in Eastbourne has been set up for next Weds 1st July at 7.30 pm at O'Malleys. Merv Theobold (Petone Community Patrol) and a representative from the Lower Hutt Police will be available to talk to those parties who have already expressed interest (plus anyone else who is interested) about setting up a Community Patrol (Merv) and to provide us with guidance on crime prevention (NZ Police representative).
