Merv Theobold (Petone Community Patrol) and a representative from the Lower Hutt Police will be available to talk to those parties who have already expressed interest (plus anyone else who is interested) about setting up a Community Patrol (Merv) and to provide us with guidance on crime prevention (NZ Police representative).     Many of you will remember our successful art exhibition, ‘Picture Perfect’, at the Hutt Art Centre in May last year. We always intended repeating it here in Eastbourne at some stage, and can now confirm that it will take place over the weekend of 14-15 November in the Muritai School Hall, as part of the Wellington Heritage Festival. We’re delighted to have another opportunity to showcase our ‘century of paintings of the eastern bays’ and to tell the stories associated with them.
