MIRO members and helpers are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting: 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 6th August 2024 East Harbour Women's Club Rooms 145 Muritai Road, Eastbourne (opposite Rimu Street) This is the time for the Committee to thank MIRO members for their contributions over the past year. It also provides the opportunity to hear about the good work being done by MIRO volunteers and meet other members. The AGM will start promptly at 6.00 p.m. This year the formal part of the meeting includes the proposal to adopt a new Constitution for MIRO as is required under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. A
Note change of venue - this meeting will be at the Eastbourne Community Hub/Library, same time and other details. Any member of the public is welcome to speak for up to 3 minutes on any issue at the beginning of the meeting, contact the board before the meeting or just notify on arrival if you wish to do so. AGM followed by guest speaker Cristina Sanders, author of Okiwi Brown, speaking about "Research & Rabbit-holes - writing historical fiction". Afternoon tea provided. All welcome. Non-members a koha please.
