Bowling is back! The Eastbourne Bowling Club extends an invitation to the Eastern Bays community to join the summer season of twilight bowls for some fun and camaraderie with other teams from the Eastern Bays community. Runs for about 1 hr and a bit from 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays commencing on 13 October using the popular short-format version of the game. Talk with your friends/ family / neighbours and get a mixed gender team of three together (with a reserve if possible) without delay. Junior Learn to Sail at Muritai Yacht Club

WHEN IS IT HELD? Every Monday from 4.30 pm to 7pm starting from 7 November until the end of junior sailing in April WHAT AGES? The course is for 9 to 15-year-olds. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN? The course covers key introductory skills and techniques of sailing. You will work towards achieving the Yachting New Zealand Level 1 Certificate. Course content is detailed in a Sailing Logbook, provided as part of the course. Each logbook has room for notes and is a great way to keep track of what you have learnt.
