• Eastbourne Beach Cleanup

    Burdan's Gate

Our spring BURDAN'S GATE BEACH CLEAN UP is scheduled for Sunday, November 15th, 9:00-12:00. We'll be set up at the usual spot just before Burdan's Gate, at the start of the Pencarrow Road. I’m pleased to say that since our April clean-up, Hutt City Council has installed bollards along the grassy picnic area where we congregate. This is intended to discourage drivers from parking on the grass and driving onto the beach. Hopefully Council will be installing similar bollards
