Disposal of asbestos-contaminated children’s play-sand at Silverstream Landfill Hutt City Council can confirm that it will be free to dispose of potentially asbestoscontaminated play-sand at the Silverstream Landfill for amounts up to 20kg. Drop off is available from Wednesday 19 November on weekdays during normal opening hours (7.30am-5pm). The service will not be offered on weekends when asbestos-trained staff are unavailable.
