Our community Tetra Pak recycling has been an epic success, so good in fact that we’ve suggested that HCC roll out a similar scheme across the city. We’ve been asked if it was some sort of commercial business by EarthLink who accept all our TetraPaks and send them to saveBOARD in Hamilton where they are quickly and simply turned into wallboard. We are also lucky that Eastbourne Lions have taken this on – another great community service from this wonderful team of volunteers!
Currently you can recycle TetraPaks in the library foyer (during library hours), just remember to cut them open, wash them clean, and dry them first – and leave/put the caps on!

It’s an interactive, geographic view of completed saveBOARD projects that you can see in public spaces across New Zealand and Australia. Real jobs. Real locations. Real results.
This is not a gallery. It’s a reference tool. Use it when you’re researching a new build, scoping a project, or making the case for a circular material choice with a client. Find projects near you. See what’s out there. Even send your clients there to check out different installations to see saveBOARD in the flesh.
Circular building using low-carbon materials is not a future ambition. It’s happening right now, on job sites across New Zealand and Australia, by architects, builders, and developers who have already made the call.
The Project Map is the evidence of that — and every new public saveBOARD project adds another pin. Note: If its not in a public space its not on the list.
