Tupua Horo Nuku – Resilience and Shared Path Celebration postponed until Sunday

The weather is gate crashing our celebration! The weather isn't looking too flash for Saturday - so the decision is to postpone the public informal part of the day until Sunday 19 April (next day). Same places, same time (10am-2pm), same fun - just hopefully better weather. The official proceedings (blessing and opening) will still go ahead from 6am at Whiorau Reserve on Saturday 18th April. Sunday - Get your bikes tuned up, lace up your walking shoes, and prepare to explore the completed 4.4km path with us! We have fun things planned for your whānau around the Eastern Bays. It’s that time of year again, so mark your calendar! Our next Eastbourne beach clean-up is scheduled for Sunday, April 19th. We’ll be set up at the usual place - the picnic table just before Burdan’s Gate - from 9:00 until noon. All welcome, for any length of time. Even half an hour makes a big difference. Bags and gloves provided.
