    Tupua Horo Nuku – Resilience and Shared Path Celebration postponed until Sunday

    The weather is gate crashing our celebration! The weather isn't looking too flash for Saturday - so the decision is to postpone the public informal part of the day until Sunday 19 April (next day). Same places, same time (10am-2pm), same fun - just hopefully better weather. The official proceedings (blessing and opening) will still go ahead from 6am at Whiorau Reserve on Saturday 18th April. Sunday - Get your bikes tuned up, lace up your walking shoes, and prepare to explore the completed 4.4km path with us! We have fun things planned for your whānau around the Eastern Bays.   • Community Patrol for Eastbourne / Bays?

    An initial information evening to discuss and explore what a Community Patrol could look like in Eastbourne has been set up for next Weds 1st July at 7.30 pm at O'Malleys. I will need to get a rough estimate of numbers to confirm with the kind folk at O'Malleys who have offered their space for this initial meeting.   • Community Patrol Meeting

    East Harbour Womens Club 145 Muritai Road, Eastbourne, Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand

    Tuesday 21st July at 7.30 (Venue: EB Women's Club on Muritai Rd). Merv Theobold (Petone Community Patrol) and a representative from the Lower Hutt Police will be available to talk to those parties who have already expressed interest (plus anyone else who is interested) about setting up a Community Patrol (Merv) and to provide us with guidance on crime prevention (NZ Police representative). Those of us already connected through the Eastbourne Community Patrol WhatsApp Group will receive this invite shortly but essentially this is a meeting where all those who wish to be part of the patrol, assist with fundraising endeavors, provide administrative assistance and/or
