The ECB welcomes the Council's consultation on the Eastbourne Bowling Club's proposal to build a bowling green on the sealed area beside the Eastbourne Sports and Services Club. We encourage everyone who uses the area for tennis, basketball, skateboarding, biking, etc, to submit at hutt.city/ebcrelocation. If a bowling green is built there, the area available will be reduced. The three double tennis courts will be replaced by two single tennis courts, and the full-size basketball court will

Our Harbour Ward councillor Tui Lewis has already been decided (uncontested), and our Community Board is also decided as we only had the required 5 candidates nominated, meaning no contest is required. This election will also feature 2 referendums. To retain the new Maori Ward (binding  - this will affect the next election in 2028, not this one).
