Very sadly we are cancelling the first two performances of The Nerd on Thursday (10th) and Friday (11th) this week because of cast illness. Our opening night will be this Saturday, 12 July. We are adding an extra performance at 7:30pm on Wednesday 16 July - tickets on sale through Humanitix. Those who have tickets for Thursday or Friday this week will have received an email about rebooking. Our next production – The Nerd, by Larry Shue – is now cast and in rehearsal. Local historian Ali Carew presents an illustrated talk on the history of the latest addition to Wellington’s regional park system, right at our back door. All welcome. Are you 11 - 19 years old? Have you got ideas about what this will look like? When? Monday 28 July Eastbourne Library 5:30 - 7pm Food provided. This will be an info evening to explore establishing our own Youth Forum in Eastbourne and the Bays. The Eastbourne Youth Forum is a youth-led initiative for young people to have a voice, lead solutions, and connect with our community. This concept aims to foster a more cohesive and connected Eastbourne community. It will be a youth-led space, supported by the ECB, where young people can: Voice their needs and interests Engage with the community and Foster Community

Local Body Elections – including regional and city councils, and community board.

The Local Government Commission overruled the HCC council vote to disestablish the Eastbourne Community Board as of the next election. This means ECB will be part of the next election cycle.  Thank you Eastbourne for your support! Local body elections are your opportunity to elect your regional (GWRC) and city (Hutt City) councillors, and your community board members (ECB).
