ShakeOut is self-run earthquake and tsunami drill held across the world to remind people of the right action to take during an earthquake. During an earthquake, Drop, Cover and Hold. He estimates he owns about 90% of the 370 known postcards of the eastern bays. Several years ago he gave a talk to our members on the subject, and mentioned that he’d like to do a book about Eastbourne postcards, so I offered to help with the local history content.     It’s that time of year again, so mark your calendar! Our next Eastbourne beach clean-up is scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd. We’ll be set up at the usual place - the picnic table just before Burdan’s Gate - from 9:00 until noon. All welcome, for any length of time. Even half an hour makes a big difference. Bags and gloves provided.

    In support of St Alban's Church and Hall strengthening Step into a world of six acclaimed private gardens each a living canvas of colour, design and inspiration from lush natives to sculpted landscapes.
