Muritai Yacht Club – Female sailors from across Wellington will be competing in a 4 race series with an emphasis on fun. The club is also running an open day, encouraging people to come along and watch as well as seeing what the club does. Active in the Hutt

Beach Night planned at Rona Bay Beach (in front of yacht club), on Jan 13th, 6pm to 8pm.  The event is an opportunity for enhance community relations and wellbeing especially for our young ones. WHEN IS IT HELD? Every Monday from 4.30 pm to 7pm starting from 7 November until the end of junior sailing in April WHAT AGES? The course is for 9 to 15-year-olds. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN? The course covers key introductory skills and techniques of sailing. You will work towards achieving the Yachting New Zealand Level 1 Certificate. Course content is detailed in a Sailing Logbook, provided as part of the course. Each logbook has room for notes and is a great way to keep track of what you have learnt.
